A well-established and growing regional civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its team in Hamilton. With a strong pipeline of secured work across infrastructure, groundworks, and public realm projects, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a respected contractor delivering high-quality regional projects.

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple civil engineering projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will provide commercial and operational leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior position requiring a proactive leader who can manage teams, build client relationships, and drive performance across several live sites.

• Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering contracts simultaneously
• Lead and support Project Managers and Site Managers
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and in compliance with all HSE regulations
• Monitor programme performance and implement corrective actions where necessary
• Manage commercial performance in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors
• Maintain and develop strong client and stakeholder relationships
• Contribute to tender reviews, risk management, and strategic planning
• Report regularly to senior leadership on project and financial performance

• Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager or Site Agent role within civil engineering
• Strong background in infrastructure, groundworks, roads, drainage, or utilities
• Excellent commercial awareness and contractual knowledge
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Relevant construction or civil engineering qualification (degree or equivalent preferred)
