Mechanical Fitter

Aqua-Tech is currently working with one of our clients who is looking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team. This role will involve working on projects across Scotland, primarily within the water and wastewater sector.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical installation works on a range of industrial sites, including the installation of pumps, screens, rotating equipment, pipework, valves, and associated ancillary equipment. Experience with in the water and wastewater industry, or a similar industrial environment, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation of pumps, screens, and rotating equipment

• Installation of pipework, valves, and ancillary mechanical equipment

• Working on water and wastewater treatment sites across Scotland

• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Working as part of a contracts delivery team and liaising with site management

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter

• Previous experience in the water and wastewater sector or a similar industry preferred

• Strong mechanical installation background

• Ability to work on sites across Scotland

• Good understanding of health and safety requirements
