Quantity Surveyor
My client is one of Scotland's largest local authorities with healthy long term capital programs both within housing, education and community facilities.
They have an ambitious housing regeneration project which includes new build and re-modernisation of housing and flatted developments over a 20-year period.
They are currently seeking Quantity Surveyors to join their team on a long-term contract basis. Part-time and Full-time positions available.
You will be part of a team who are responsible for the housing regeneration project.
Working within a multi-disciplinary environment you will be responsible for cost estimating, preparation of contract documents, site measurements, payments and contract administration.
As Quantity Surveyor, you will be involved in all aspects of quantity surveying function, including procurement and contract management.
To be considered for the role you should have:
- You should be educated to degree level
- Have considerable experience within the design and construction industry.
- Experience of computerised billing systems.
- Knowledge of procurement and current contract conditions.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
This role falls within IR35.
This is a hybrid working position with attendance on site and office when required.
Contracted hours are 35 hours per week; however, part time hours are available (negotiable).
