Substitute BDAs are limited to working 600 hours per school year.

Position Posting: Provide supervision and assistance to students riding the bus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have a valid First Aid Card.
• Must be willing and able to work patiently with and supervise special needs students.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to work well with adults and children with disabilities.
• Strength and agility to enter and exit a bus from side emergency exit.
• Must be able to work effectively with special needs children.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
