Aninsulatorisresponsibleforinstalling,maintaining,andrepairinginsulationmaterialsinvarioussettingsto regulatetetemperatureandimproveenergyefficiency.

• Installation: apply insulation materials to pipes, tanks, ducts, and other industrial equipment to control temperature and improve energy efficiency.
• Measurement and Cutting: measure and cut insulation materials to the required size and shape, ensuring a perfect fit around obstructions.
• Blueprint Interpretation: review blueprints and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select appropriate materials.
• Maintenance and Repair: perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on insulation systems, including the removal of old or damaged insulation.
• Safety Compliance: follow safety standards and procedures while performing insulation tasks, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required:

• Knowledge of various insulation materials and their properties, as well as the ability to operate insulation-cutting tools and power tools.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending and lifting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with supervisors and other team members.
• Comfortable climbing and working at elevations above 25 ft.
