** - Embrace a dual role as both a caregiver and care manager.
- Provide exceptional nursing care while leading and guiding a dedicated team of caregivers.
- Implement the Nursing Process for a designated group of patients, ensuring optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with patients, physicians, and clinicians to elevate patient care.
- Make sound, informed decisions based on your judgment to navigate complex situations.

* Education & Experience:
** - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold a current Washington State RN Licensure.
- Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
** Skills/Competencies

** - Strong assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills.
- Critical thinking: resourceful problem-solver with logical decision-making.
- Accountability and practice within legal/ethical standards.
- Crisis management expertise.
- Competency in patient care across the age spectrum.

* Physical Requirements:
** - Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, kneel, bend, and push/pull.
- Capable of lifting/carrying up to 30 lbs and performing CPR as needed.
- Strong mental faculties for patient assessment and decision making.
- Emotional stability to handle high-stress situations over extended periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective exchanges.
** Specialized Requirements for Mother Baby Unit:** - Complete AAP NRP Advanced prior to orientation.
- Obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Consider completing STABLE course within 6 months (optional).
- Fulfill AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course within 3 months of L&D training.
