We are seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse for our Mother-Baby Unit in Moses Lake, Washington! As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality patient care according to specific physician orders. This will involve, utilizing your knowledge and skills to educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits.

Our Mother-Baby Unit nurses work both L & D and postpartum.

You may qualify for this position with the following credentialing and experience:

• Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred. Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
• Ability to perform the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of all assigned patients.
• HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire – AHA or equivalent.

Mother-Baby Unit

Competencies:

• ACLS (AHA Advanced Life Support) certification to be obtained within 6 months of completing L&D training and renewed every 2 years.
• NRP (AAP Neonatal Resuscitation Program) is required for all RN’s working labor and delivery and is to be obtained within 6 months of completing L&D training and renewed every 2 years.
• AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course for all L&D RNs is required and must be obtained within 6 months of completing L&D training and renewed every two years. Advanced Fetal Monitoring course will be considered acceptable.

  Competency validation for all labor and delivery RN’s to be completed within six (6) months of L&D training.
• RN-C Preferred

Part-time 24 hrs one week, 36 hrs the next, Days 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, variable days of the week.
