Retail Merchandising Specialist – BDS Connected Solutions, LLC.

BDS offers an engaging, part‑time opportunity for individuals who enjoy independent projects and want to collaborate with well‑known consumer electronics brands. The role is paid weekly, includes paid training and various assignments that allow the employee to work independently and develop new skills.

Minimum Pay:
USD $21.00 /hr

Maximum Pay:
USD $21.00 /hr

• Travel to assigned retail stores within your territory to conduct visits
• Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products (TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, phones, etc.)
• Partner with team members on 2–3 person projects such as appliance or TV installations
• Build and maintain positive in‑store relationships
• Complete assignments as directed by your BDS Manager
• Ensure timely reporting from your mobile device
• Schedule and meet work standards and expectations (provided during onboarding)
• Receive materials at home or pick up at Fed Ex and bring to store locations as requested
• Perform other tasks as requested by management

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills
• Proficiency using a personal Android or Apple device (smartphone/tablet) with GPS and photo upload capabilities
• Must own a basic toolkit (BDS reimburses cost after successful completion of probation); toolkit includes a multi‑screwdriver, torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, easy off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and goo‑gone
• Ability to complete paid BDS online training courses within required timelines
• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• Flexible availability Monday‑Friday, early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours
• Minimum 20 hours per week
• Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to travel within a 60‑mile radius of the designated market (BDS pays drive time and mileage)

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching overhead, crouching, kneeling, and driving
• Regularly lift and carry 40+ pounds
• Climb ladders up to 10+ feet
• May require certification to use moving equipment (e.g., Big Joe/Little Joey, forklifts)
• Occasional travel via flight or other transportation modes

The pay range may vary based on experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
