Position Summary
The Instructor in Business (a half-time position .5 FTE) will teach a course load equivalent to 10 credit hours in the areas of general business, career readiness, and/or professional development and communication at the undergraduate level over the academic year. This faculty member (instructor rank) will demonstrate expertise in one or more business disciplines with the ability to deliver high-quality and innovative courses in both traditional classroom and online environments.
Additionally, the faculty member will play a vital role in advising students, demonstrating a commitment to their academic and professional development. Active involvement in both outreach and extension activities to foster connections with professional organizations and the business community is expected, as well as service and leadership contributions to the department, college, and university.

Listed degree qualification is required at time of application.
Required Qualifications- Experience teaching business courses at the undergraduate level.
- PhD, DBA or other terminal degree in a business-related field.
- Experience developing a variety of teaching methods including face-to-face and online.
- Experience teaching in a variety of business disciplines, such as:
- Professional development and business career readiness courses
- Introduction to Business
- Experiential learning and team‑teaching experience
- Ability to transfer classroom knowledge and skills to the workforce.
- Experience working with industry professionals and companies integrating their business challenges into class scenarios or projects.
- Business work experience.
- Experience teaching at an AACSB‑accredited college.
- Excellent undergraduate teaching evaluations.
