Overview
Best Drive, a wholly owned subsidiary of Continental, is a leading provider of tire solutions for commercial fleets with 25 locations across the United States. Best Drive Commercial Tire Centers specializes in innovative tire solutions including Continental and General Tire brand products, Conti Pressure Check , and a wide array of multi-brand truck tires to address all market segments.
Responsibilities- Mount, dismount, and install tires and tire/wheel assemblies
- Load and unload tires on and off trucks
- Repair tires
- Inspect tires and wheels before and after service following established procedures
- Determine repairable tire conditions and perform necessary repairs
- Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors
- Document work performed accurately and according to company policy
- Operate heavy-duty tire service equipment and tools including boom cranes, cribbing, jacks, compressors, and electric and hydraulic equipment
- Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to equipment using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools
- Mount and dismount off-the-road tires, including multi-piece rims
- Perform emergency road service calls on nights and/or weekends on a rotating basis
- Maintain the assigned service vehicle and onboard equipment/tools
- Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements pertaining to this position
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
- Ability to work on a team and independently
- Clear verbal and written communication with co-workers and management

Additional Ways To Stand Out- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of tire service technician experience
- CDL License a plus
- TIA certification
Physical Requirements
- Work hours are generally 7–5 Monday – Friday, with Saturdays and evenings as needed; may have little to no advance notice
- Safety is our highest priority; follow safety procedures
- Position operates in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to heat and cold
- Regularly required to stand, bend, climb, lift, and walk
- May handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment; comply with OSHA regulations
- Required to lift 75–100 lbs routinely; may occasionally lift up to 150 lbs
