Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers.
We are looking for a variety of dynamic, organized self-starters to join our Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) as a 2026 Summer High School Intern - Information Technology. We have multiple openings in various disciplines across our Aftermarket Parts organization. To learn more about what we are looking for, our opportunities are broken out into the following skillsets.
Data Warehouse- Working with data warehouse and reporting tools such as Power
BI. - Retrieving and analyzing data via Snowflake and Snaplogic.
- Leveraging data analytics and AI via Python and other tools.
- Working with customers - internal and external - and executing with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrating initiative with willingness to take ownership and accountability.
- AI Video Analytics:
Support the CCTV infrastructure hardware/software and application deployment for Facility CCTV Video Analytics use cases. - Infrastructure monitoring/alert management:
Configure alerts in multiple infrastructure monitoring tools, leveraging data analytics and AI for proactive monitoring. - Python Development:
Leverage Python to create/modify scripts to automate alert data retrieval and send to event management tools via REST API.
- Review/update PMO checklist working with the Project Manager's.
- Support Project Manager's with any test data readiness and test monitoring help.
- Assist in Control meetings and Stakeholder Update meetings.
- Working with data warehouse and reporting tools such as Power
BI and Tableau. - Retrieving and analyzing data via Snowflake and Snaplogic.
- Updating and writing queries against Snowflake tables.
- Salesforce profile and permission set auditing.
- Salesforce user data cleanup.
- Salesforce data ownership/classification.
- User/authorization support; providing data access to customers.
- Working with customers - internal and external - and executing with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrating initiative with willingness to take ownership and accountability.

- This position will start in May 2026 with the expectations of working Full-time (40-hours per week) during the summer.
- Must be a current High School Junior or Senior.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (includes Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
- Completion of a general programming course or related class for consideration for the position in Information Technology Infrastructure.
- Previous experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
- Knowledge of programming concepts and understanding of logic (such as SQL queries, REST API, Python, VS Code, C#, DB2, Snowflake).

Summary Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.50
Intern Hour Rate: An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
