Job Title Logistics Transportation Analyst
Duration 2 Years (Strong possibility of extension)
Job Description:
- Payment of carriers and logistics service providers
- Service validation of invoices
- Rate audit of invoices against contracts
- Root cause analysis and corrective action for process defects
- Data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can be communicated back to Transportation Operations teams to drive supply chain improvements.
- Candidates with accounting, audit, or supply chain experience
- Advanced user of MS Excel
- SAS programming experience desired
- SQL experience helpful
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, audit, or supply chain field
- Or 2 years minimum equivalent work experience
- Advanced MS Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookups, regression and histogram)
- SAS programming experience
- SQL programming experience
- Experience with audit, payables and/or supply chain
- Writing programs to audit freight invoices
- Following up with carriers to negotiate settlements on billing exceptions
- Communication
- Negotiation
