Northshore Center of Dental Health is committed to delivering quality dental care and brightening patients' smiles every day. We are seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our passionate team.
Position
Schedule:
Monday 9:30am – 7:00pm, Tuesday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Wednesday 9:30am – 7:00pm, every other Saturday 7:30am – 1:00pm
- Full-Time (30+ hours per week)
- Part-Time (15-29 hours per week)
- Quarterly Bonus Potential – up to $700

- Licensure/Certification Reimbursement
- Dental assistant certificate from an accredited vocational school (preferred, but not required)
- 1+ years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
- Current BLS and CPR certification (preferred, but not required)
- Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Follow instruction and training guidelines for endodontic practice
- Gather patient information and health background
- Prepare the work area for procedures
- Take x-rays of patients’ teeth when necessary and display results for the dentist
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
- Prepare materials for surgical procedures
- Educate patients on post-operative instructions
- Restock treatment areas and monitor inventory
- Sterilization, adhere to office standards and universal precautions
