Job Summary
This position performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as heating ventilation air conditioning and electrical work.
Responsibilities- Replaces belts and filters on air handling units.
- Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Air filter changes, air dryer maintenance (non-refrigerated side), evaporative cooler, furnace maintenance and exhaust fans.
- Paints structures and equipment as required.
- Repairs concrete floors, steps and sidewalks.
- Inspects/repairs damaged interior infrastructure surfaces as needed.
- Performs general maintenance on equipment and machinery, as assigned.
- Follows company’s safety, health and accident prevention plan while maintaining records in a timely fashion.
- Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces, assist others as part of the maintenance team as required and perform other duties assigned according to personal qualifications.
- Minimum of three years related experience in construction and/or building and facility maintenance. Universal certification credentials. HVAC experience desired.
- Must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain NACI/LAC clearance after hire.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and insurable driving record.
