Responsible for ensuring the proper and efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the assigned facility. Tasks include preventive maintenance, repairs, and supervision of staff if applicable. The role may involve working alone at the site, especially in the absence of a Chief Engineer, and may require shift work or on-call duties.

• Operate and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related equipment.
• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as filter changes, lubrication, lamp replacements, and inspections.
• Develop and improve maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain inventory and stock levels.
• Report on building operations regularly.

• High School Diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems operation.

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Office environment with travel between properties. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, crouch, and work in various weather conditions.
