As a Security Officer - Outpatient Center Rounds in Morrisville, NC
, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare and related environments. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication and customer service. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will perform duties in accordance with site-specific policies and emergency procedures.

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating disruptive behavior and coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and public areas for policy compliance, assist with way finding, and support orderly movement in high-traffic healthcare locations.
  • Complete incident reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations to the onsite account team and/or client contacts, and support follow-up actions as directed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have at least 2 or more years of security experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
