HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Sunstates Security is currently hiring for Full‑Time Security Officers for a high‑profile client site in the Morrisville, NC area. 3rd shift is available! This position offers a pay rate of $20.00/hr – paid weekly.

This role requires a professional individual with both security and receptionist experience who can deliver excellent customer service and communication skills, enforce access control, and ensure the overall safety and security of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk / Reception:

• Answer and forward calls to the appropriate personnel or department.
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors.
• Monitoring and ensuring facility access is strictly controlled.

Security & Patrols:

• Conduct routine foot patrols to ensure facility safety and compliance.
• Enforce security protocols according to Post Orders and SOP.

Customer Service & Professionalism:

• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Provide high‑quality customer service to staff, visitors, and guests.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Write accurate, detailed reports as required.
• Uphold confidentiality and comply with site policies and procedures.
• Act quickly and efficiently in response to security situations.

Job Requirements:

• Prior security and receptionist/front desk experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills with strong communication abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong report‑writing skills with attention to detail.
• Must attend and successfully complete our licensing class in Raleigh, NC (if not currently licensed with a PPSB‑issued NC security license).

Preferred

Skills:

• Prior experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or high‑profile security settings.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to de‑escalate conflicts.

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.

High School diploma or equivalent.
