Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2721) – Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour. Join to apply for the Guest Advocate role at Target.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make guests aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and let them know you’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Explain how to use Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and direct enrollment when appropriate
• Assist with returns following policy and consult with leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and manage merchandise and supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; follow safety policies and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-Up (DU) orders and returns with compliance to laws
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs

• Ability to stay focused and composed while managing multiple tasks

• Ability to handle checkout operations, transactions, and support cash office duties as needed
• Capacity to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with or without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance
• Mobility to perform shift activities; tolerance for varying temperatures and conditions (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
