Job Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, direction, and management to assigned book of work/studies. Provides operational oversight and guidance to staff to support prioritization of activities, reviews and monitors the work performed, metrics compliance, and development of contingency plans.
• Acts as a point of contact for delivery strategy and solutions around monitoring, enrollment and/or site management; aligning internally and externally for assigned studies.
• Provides Delivery Oversight to ensure quality and adherence to SOPs/WIs and compliance with federal and local guidelines and ICH GCP for the portfolio.
• Works with appropriate business units/regions to ensure staff performance on studies and correct any deficiencies identified by staff, clients, and auditors.
• Develops and/or supports customer relationships, manages expectations, governance structures, standardizes processes, and escalates serious risks and issues as required.
• Oversees the assigned book of work/studies to identify critical data and processes, assess risks to protocol execution and clinical delivery.
• Identifies needs and may recommend process improvements and efficiencies.
• Participates in work streams to support development and implementation of new BU/cross-functional strategic initiatives.
• May validate hours in the resourcing tool where staff are not yet assigned; uses data analytics to oversee clinical delivery services, operations, compliance, and quality.
• Ensures issue resolution for monitoring strategy, enrollment and/or site management.
• Supports financial oversight of the book of work related to monitoring, enrollment and/or site management to achieve target revenue.
• Supports audits of clinical delivery and prepares others for participation in audits.
• Provides support to Business Development to facilitate new project awards during the Bid Defense process, including expert Clinical Operations guidance; may participate in marketing activities, client presentations, and proposal development.
