Operations Manager

Our Flo Logic (Morrisville, NC) location is currently seeking an Operations Manager. This key leadership role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of day-to-day operations in a rapidly growing business. This role ensures operational excellence across production, material management, shipping and receiving, customer support, repair and returns, and quality control. The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader who can build scalable processes, drive continuous improvement, and support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership:
• Direct and oversee daily operations across production, materials, shipping and receiving, customer support, repair/returns, and quality functions.
• Ensure alignment of operational activities with company goals and growth objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize production schedules to meet customer demand.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, and logistics to ensure on-time availability of materials and components.
• Manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all carrier, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement efficient material flow and cost-control measures.
• Customer Support & Service Operations:
• Lead the customer support and service teams to deliver superior customer experience.
• Establish performance metrics, service level agreements (SLAs), and continuous improvement programs.
• Repair, Returns & Quality Control:
• Manage repair and return processes to ensure fast turnaround and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee quality control and assurance programs to maintain high product reliability and compliance with standards.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.
• Strategic & Process Improvement:
• Develop and implement operational strategies to support rapid growth.
• Introduce process automation, best practices, and lean methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and finance to support new product introductions and scaling initiatives.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing operations team.
• Establish clear performance goals, accountability frameworks, and professional development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, including production, materials management, and logistics, preferably in a high-growth manufacturing or technology environment.
• Proven track record of scaling operational teams and processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs required.
• Experience with Oracle systems preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and KPI-driven management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
