Job SummaryJoin DEEP&T as a Software Engineer II to play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our entertainment solutions. You will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our Device Lab Infrastructure to support QA Automation, collaborating closely with multiple stakeholder teams, and ensuring technical excellence across our development lifecycle. This role demands a proactive approach to troubleshoot system issues, improve device lab infrastructure, and enforce quality through comprehensive documentation and SLAs.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure maximum device availability and troubleshoot networking issues within our Device Labs.
- Develop enhanced monitoring solutions for Device Lab Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Hardware, Service, and Software teams to integrate quality.
- Create and enforce SLAs, maintain OS updates, and organize lab spaces for maintenance efficiency.
- Investigate system issues proactively and maintain up-to-date documentation for end users and contributors.
- Proficiency in Linux, MacOS, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong networking skills with the ability to troubleshoot network performance issues.
- Working knowledge of containerization and CI/CD tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, with a focus on optimizing cost and efficiency.
- Prior experience in device automation roles (SDET, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer) is required.
- Experience in an entertainment or technology domain, working with Device Lab Infrastructures, is preferred.
