Mechanical Engineering Intern

Xylem is seeking a Summer intern to join our Electric Product Engineering team!

Mechanical Engineering Design and Development utilizing 2D/3D CAD Tools

-    Design electric meter hardware including plastics, metals and PCB electronics

-    Use engineering tools to measure accuracy and quality of designs and prototypes

-    Perform troubleshooting and provide support to Sr. Mechanical Engineers.

-    Additional duties and responsibilities include vendor coordination, parts selection or other duties required based on organization needs

** Attending an accredited University studying toward a Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Mechanical*
* ** Engineering*
* ** Minimum rising junior in standing*
* ** Minimum 3.0 GPA*
* ** Knowledge of project planning methodologies such as critical path planning.*
* ** Knowledge of computers and database/spreadsheet/ word processing software*
* ** Knowledge of basic query functions for the purpose of report creation*
* ** Knowledge of PowerPoint and basic presentation tools*
* ** Excellent communications skills*
* ** Excellent planning and organizational skills*
* ** Problem solving skills*
* ** Ability to take responsibility and function under minimal supervision*
* ** Ability to work with wide range of people*
