Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer

Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer, you will be part of the Advanced Silicon Development supporting the Microsoft Silicon Team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Execute full-custom IC layout for analog and mixed-signal blocks including SERDES, PLLs, ADCs, DACs, and more.
• Collaborate closely with circuit designers to optimize layout for performance, power, and area.
• Conduct layout floor planning, block-level routing, and macro-level assembly.
• Perform physical verification using industry-standard tools like Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in layout design.

What's Needed?

• 4+ years of experience in custom/digital IP layout for analog mixed-signal circuits.
• Proven track record of successful tapeouts in advanced FinFET CMOS nodes (2nm-5nm).
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre layout and verification tools.
• Strong understanding of analog layout techniques including matching and shielding.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
