We are seeking an expert Contract Infrastructure Automation Engineer to automate and scale our core data infrastructure platforms (Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, Postgres, Elasticache) primarily within AWS. This high‑impact, hands‑on role requires deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Python, and advanced CI/CD practices. The role will be 60% operations and 40% development.

• Automate and scale data infrastructure platforms (Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, Postgres, Elasticache) within AWS.
• Design, develop, and maintain IaC using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate infrastructure deployment, continuous testing, and incident management workflows.
• Use Python scripting and API integration (Boto3) for infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure performance, resilience, and high availability of critical services.
• Execute, deliver, and document complex technical projects autonomously.

• Expert level experience with AWS (large‑scale production environments). Mandatory.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with Terraform (resource provisioning) and Ansible (configuration management).
• Expert proficiency in Python for infrastructure scripting and API integration.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Jenkins.
• Practical experience automating operations for distributed data platforms such as Kafka, Cassandra, RDS, and Elasticache.
• Must be eligible to work in FedRAMP authorized environments and secure data platforms.

Expert Level

Contract position based out of Morrisville, NC. Hybrid work arrangement.

The pay range is $60.00 – $65.00 /hr. Eligible temporary benefit options include:
