Positions available: 1+

Position reports to a Project Manager. The role has direct responsibility for the efficient and timely management of personnel, equipment, scheduling, safety, cost, quality workmanship, subcontractors, and completion of assigned projects.

• Ensure new personnel are properly oriented with company policies, safety requirements, and job responsibilities.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of assigned personnel.
• Review all daily records and verify their accuracy.
• Maintain a daily log recording important conversations and events for future reference.
• Supervise and direct project subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and quality workmanship.
• Assist and direct personnel in the proper use and maintenance of equipment, improving job performance, controlling cost, increasing productivity, improving communication, and adhering to company policies.
• Conduct continuous evaluation of cost and yields,FT six planest, job assignments, equipment needs, on‑site training, safety, security, and crime prevention needs; report any problems, changes, or recommendations to the division manager and/or project manager.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with all company policies, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain good relations with the general public, engineers, architects, inspectors, and customers to facilitate job progress and promote a positive company image.
• Perform additional duties as needed in the operations of the project or as directed by the Division Manager and/or Project Manager.
• Have proficiency in using smart devices and computers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Be knowledgeable of and abide by state and federal regulations/laws that apply to bridge building in the construction industry and other assigned areas of responsibility, as well as company policies and procedures.

Minimum of 4 years prior foreman/superintendent experience in building bridges/structures. Experience with NCDOT and/or Federal projects is a plus. tenår

Heavy physical effort required, including pulling, lifting, or moving average weightsych items with occasional lifting or moving of materials or equipment (over 80 pounds). Position requires the ability to continuously work around noise, dust, heat, cold, oil, and heavy equipment. Personal protective equipment will be required. Position requires quick and clear idea exchange and the ability to receive and evaluate detailed information.
