Ferguson is currently seeking a Sales Project Manager to join our Southeast Project Team. This position will focus on Industrial PVF projects in the Louisiana Gulf market.
Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of a project, from initial quotation to order execution, so that it is completed within the customer’s schedule.
- Recommend products and services that fit well with clients' business needs.
- Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the project.
- Establish and maintain effective sales relationships with major accounts/customers.
- Understand vendor sourcing strategies and be engaged in commodity pricing and market fluctuations.
- Monitor progress and performance against the project plan; resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Work directly with partners and clients to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and perform calculations.
- Conduct project meetings and prepare regular reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
- Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Provide a high level of assistance to program/project managers to ensure projects are carried out according to plan.
- 5+ years of pipe, valve, and fitting Sales and Project Management experience.
- Extensive Industrial PVF knowledge is required; commodity sourcing and project sales in the Gulf market is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Access, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Strong critical thinker and effective problem solver.

$4,275.00 - $9,716.30
Estimated ranges displayed are monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles.
This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
