🩺 Key Clinical Responsibilities:
Nursing Process:
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Leadership:
Assume leadership responsibilities, including the delegation of tasks to LPNs and LNAs, ensuring safe and efficient patient flow.
Triage & Assessment:
Perform rapid, accurate assessments of chief complaints and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Compliance:
Adhere to all State and Federal regulations, as well as the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care.
🩺 Requirements:
Experience:
Recent ER experience is required;
Critical Access experience is a plus.
Licensure:
Active Vermont RN License (VT is a Compact state).
Certifications:
BLS & ACLS (AHA)
PALS (or ENPC)
De-escalation Training: (e.g., MOAB, CPI, or AVADE) must be active prior to start.
Mandatory:
If certifications are not active, you must show proof of a booked course at the time of Clinical Orientation.
