Greenworks Tools is the leader in battery‑powered outdoor power equipment (OPE) for DIY consumers and landscaping professionals. The lead person will assist Quality Manager in day‑to‑day operations. His/her job is to handle the cost efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the product process. The Lead Person will provide overall direction and guidance to operational activities with the objective of maximizing operational efficiencies and profitability.

• Responsible for the development and training of quality inspectors.
• Monitor employee productivity and adjust as needed.
• Provide input to the Quality Manager regarding process improvements for greater efficiency and productivity.
• Inspection of the daily use of measuring instruments, tooling, and maintenance.
• Provide direct support to product management and engineering related to customer issues or returns.
• Liaison between Greenworks teams (Service, Manufacturing, Engineering, Product, Sales) to lead continuous quality improvement.
• Involved in quality control of incoming material, in process production and outgoing finished goods. Compile data for daily reports and use information to develop root‑cause analysis for nonconformities.
• Perform other duties as required.

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience in lawn equipment industry is a plus.
• Ability to use common quality tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and torque wrenches.
• Familiar with hardware accessories and mechanical processing or electronics input inspection, understanding metal processing technology, familiar with the relevant processes of the quality department.
• Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Must be able to read and comprehend drawings and schematics.
• Must be able to lead and manage others, while promoting a teamwork environment.
• Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment and challenging workload.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in MES, MRP, ERP systems is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
