Our client is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic and growing team. As a Litigation Associate, you will be involved in all phases of litigation and gain meaningful, hands-on experience from day one. You will work closely with experienced attorneys on a wide range of complex matters while contributing to case strategy and client representation. This role offers strong professional growth and long-term career development.
- Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and legal analysis
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, including hearings, depositions, and trials
- Assist with litigation strategy, preparation, and settlement negotiations
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas as needed
- Deliver high-quality legal services using strong litigation skills
- Handle matters involving insurance coverage, insurance defense, general liability, and commercial litigation
- Conduct thorough case investigations and evidence review
- Develop and execute effective litigation strategies
- Stay current on developments in New Jersey and New York law
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 2-8 years of litigation experience
- Experience with insurance coverage, general liability, or commercial litigation
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar required;
New York Bar admission is a plus - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of professionalism
