Overview
Our client, a well-established law firm with strong corporate practice, is seeking an experienced Corporate M&A Paralegal with seven or more years of substantive transactional experience, gained in a midsized firm practice group or very busy boutique corporate M&A firm. This is an opportunity for a seasoned Corporate M&A Paralegal seeking meaningful responsibility and long-term stability within a well-run corporate practice.
The Paralegal will bring strong organization skills and sound judgment to their work. You should be comfortable anticipating next steps, coordinating directly with attorneys and counter parties, and managing matters through completion with minimal supervision.
This key role will serve as a core member of deal teams handling a steady flow of corporate and M&A matters, including asset and stock acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. Responsibilities include managing diligence and closing workflows, maintaining transaction trackers and closing checklists, coordinating signature packets and closing sets, supporting entity formation and governance matters, and overseeing post-closing filings.
The role requires the ability to manage multiple live matters while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Compensation includes a base salary of $80K-90K plus bonus and an excellent benefits package.
