Job Description
We are seeking a technical systems thinker who brings analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills to evaluate complex business processes and uncover tactical and strategic optimization opportunities. The team member will provide enterprise‑wide support to business teams and individuals, serving as a key liaison between Finance and other departments, and leveraging deep knowledge of accounting, finance, Oracle ERP, Oracle FCCS, Oracle EDM, Narrative Reporting, ARCS, and Strata’s Axiom Healthcare Suite to deliver data‑driven solutions.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop sustainable, data‑driven solutions using current technologies to meet executive leadership and management needs.
- Provide ongoing support across the enterprise—from general staff to executive‑level management.
- Act as liaison between Finance and other departments, including external vendors.
- Rapidly master new technologies to advance data‑centric initiatives.
- Develop processes for analysis, conversion, and integration of unstructured data, including external sources.
- Lead or contribute to test procedure creation and review.
- Advise on streamlining and automation of business processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
- Apply Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP) and advise on secure access to information.
- Design, code, and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures and existing processes.
- Understand and manage complex, multi‑tier, multi‑platform systems.
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex data issues.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to produce or improve reports that support data‑driven decisions.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex database objects in line with user requirements, security, and performance.
- Engage executive leadership and stakeholders to gather business and data requirements.
- Provide technical expertise for detailed data and reporting designs, including data models and flow diagrams.
- Determine file organization, indexing, and security to make enterprise data available to executives.
- Plan and coordinate data conversion and migration from legacy or external sources.
- Serve as data‑specific SME for ERP applications as needed.
- Support Finance during software implementation phases—assessment, design, build, testing, training, and deployment.
- Conduct report authoring using tools such as Oracle Financial Reporting Web Studio, Oracle Smart View, Management Reporting, Narrative Reporting, and Axiom Reporting.
- Author ad‑hoc pivot reports with full spreadsheet functionality, drill downs, balance analysis, and subledger details, covering actual, budget, and forecast data.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or at least 2 years of experience.
- Preferred Oracle University training.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Oracle ERP, Oracle FCCS, Strata’s Axiom Healthcare Suite, financial and productivity reporting, VBA, and advanced Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Power BI, and relational database technologies (Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL).
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex concepts to executive‑level audiences.
- Detail‑oriented problem‑solving skills.
- Data analysis and interpretation skills, using data to drive process improvements.
- Ability to create, develop, and document procedures.
- Independent work capacity.
- Understanding of data extraction, transformation, and loading concepts.
- Experience optimizing databases and applications for user experience.
- Knowledge of architecture for schema‑based data storage and business logic implementation.
- Aptitude for debugging complex, unfamiliar code.
- Experience with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security.
- Experience with M&A data migrations, integrations, and conversions.
- Ability to integrate and reconcile disparate external data into standardized corporate reporting.
