Occupational Therapist : Peds Atlantic Rehab OP Morristown

Overview

Job Description Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for Atlantic Rehabilitation's Pediatric Rehabilitation team at 55 Madison Ave. The ideal candidate collaborates in a fast-paced environment and will focus on working with teens with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as sharing in care delivery for pre-school and elementary-aged children.

• Evaluate pediatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic and developmental conditions affecting fine motor function, strength, and mobility
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child and family2 s needs and goals
• Fabricate and fit custom upper extremity splints and orthoses as needed
• Provide parent/caregiver education and home exercise programs
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other care team members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, required
• Current NJ license as an Occupational Therapist, required
• Minimum 2-3 years of pediatric OT experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic rehab and splint fabrication (clinic or hospital-based) is preferred
• PAMs certification, preferred
