Senior Scientist - Analytical Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scientist to support analytical development in a pharmaceutical setting. You’ll perform method development, validation, and transfer, as well as laboratory testing for product performance and stability. This role requires strong technical expertise, documentation accuracy, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods
• Conduct laboratory testing to support product development
• Document experiments/results in notebooks, ELN, and LIMS
• Write analytical methods, specifications, validation reports, and SOPs
• Perform GMP reviews of analytical activities and records
• Collaborate with analysts to ensure consistent documentation practices
• Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science with 7+ years of pharmaceutical analytical lab experience, or Master’s degree with 5+ years
• QC or R&D experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Hands-on expertise with Waters/Agilent HPLC/UPLC systems and USP dissolution apparatus
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry, chromatography, and GMP/SOP compliance
• Proficiency in Waters Empower3 CDS and MS Office
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
