MRI Technician

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technician for an outpatient radiology setting in Morristown, NJ. This contract role supports high-quality diagnostic imaging services and requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

• Position patients and place appropriate MRI coils according to radiologist protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients using in-room microphone systems during scans
• Enter patient history and scan parameters accurately into MRI systems
• Select and adjust scan sequences and imaging settings
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout examinations
• Alert staff and visitors to MRI safety precautions regarding metal exposure
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• 1–3 years of experience as an MRI Technician
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• New Jersey State RT License
• MR Certification
• BLS Certification
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
