Overview
Ensures quality and safe delivery of home health care services. Develops and implements written policies and procedures that reflect the home health care agency philosophy and objectives. Develops a strategic business plan that ensures controlled and consistent growth. Ensures compliance of agency operations with federal, state and local rules and regulations.
Responsibilities- Develops, implements, evaluates budget plans and cost control policies and procedures to ensure sufficient net contribution.
- Develops and implements salary programs within approved agency policies and procedures.
- Monitors productivity levels of agency staff and adjusts accordingly.
- Monitors ongoing changes and trends in the health and home care industry and adjusts and evaluates accordingly.
- Continuously identifies opportunities and needs in the industry and develops new relationships and product lines to respond to the evolving health care environment.
- Monitors the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjusts allocated funds accordingly.
- Develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies to increase the volume of field staff.
- Participates in professional associations to collaborate with industry professionals and monitor trends, regulations and threats to the home care industry.
- Collaborates with other AHSIC companies and Atlantic Health facilities to promote awareness and pursue mutual growth opportunities.
- Provides on-call leadership coverage after business hours, weekends and holidays.
- Provides oversight and operational leadership to the Adult Day Center.
- Accepts additional assignments as necessary.
- Responds to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or the business community; maintains confidentiality.
- Provides practice management support for the operational location.
- Registered Nurse licensure highly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited university.
- Master's degree in health services, geriatrics or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive responsible supervisory or administrative experience.
- Experience in home health care, post-acute care, health services or related field.
- Demonstrated management and leadership expertise.
