Field Support Manager (FSM)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtains verifications/denials, authorizations for services, and verifications of eligibility for clients
  • Ensures accuracy of caregiver information in Axxess and all other user interfaces
  • Assists with the billing, payroll, EVV’s and medical records process
  • Corrects overlapping EVV’s and provides re-education to repeat offenders
  • Delivers exceptional customer service to customers, patients, and family members especially in the context of troubleshooting and conflict resolution
  • Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication within the office as well as with clients, caregivers, field staff, and team members
  • Collaborates with the operations team to ensure appropriate and effective operational methods and best practices are used to support the office
  • Submits nursing requirements and backgrounds to third parties for approval
  • Provides thorough tablet and Axxess training for all new hires and struggling staff members
  • Implements, develops, and oversees best practices, tools, and processes in accordance with company, federal, state, local and accreditation standards
  • Oversees caregiver and field staff onboarding experience including orientation, credentialing, etc.
  • Ensures caregivers and field staff meet all requirements prior to providing patient care
  • Manages field support specialist development, including coaching, training and continuing education
