Job Description
Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center. The position is located in a newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey.
The role offers a 22.5‑hour work week, limited at‑home call, and one paid weekend shift per month. The successful candidate will work closely with a collaborative team of psychiatrists and support staff to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow‑up care for children and adolescents. The psychiatrist will also have the opportunity to provide cross‑coverage for adult clinical services as needed.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Provide ongoing follow‑up care, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and enhance patient well‑being.
- Cross‑cover adult clinical services on an as‑needed basis to support overall service quality.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
- Completion of a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Valid New Jersey license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Knowledge of federal and state standards for psychiatric care.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent compensation (Base salary $300,000 – $350,000).

Salary
: $300,000 – $350,000 (base salary only; excludes quality or productivity incentives).
