As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated Route Mechanic Helper to join our dynamic team.
JOB HIGHLIGHT
Plumber (Monday - Friday Day Shift) is responsible for performing skilled plumbing work to maintain, repair, and install water, drainage, heating, and gas systems in a commercial building environment. This role ensures compliance with safety codes and industry standards while providing reliable support to operations and building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, faucets, toilets, pumps, water heaters, and related fixtures.
- Maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems for our 100-foot commercial snack facility.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Respond to service requests, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot plumbing-related problems.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, maintenance staff, and external contractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and equipment service.
- Support HVAC, fire suppression, and mechanical systems as needed from a plumbing standpoint.
- Ensure safe work practices and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- High school diploma or GED; completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience in a commercial or institutional building.
- Strong understanding of plumbing codes, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and respond to emergency calls when required.
- Rate: $30 - $40 DOE
