Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Provide comprehensive care to postpartum mothers and newborns
Monitor vital signs and recovery of both mother and baby
Support breastfeeding, bonding, and postnatal education
Administer prescribed medications and postpartum treatments
Recognize and respond to maternal or neonatal complications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with hospital protocols

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active New Jersey RN license
Current BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Maternal-Newborn or Postpartum setting
