Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse
Deliver high-acuity care to patients transitioning from critical care to general medical units
Monitor and interpret complex vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status
Administer medications and therapies as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans
Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies
Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations
Educate patients and their families about treatment, recovery, and discharge planning

Requirements of the Travel Nurse
Active New Jersey RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Stepdown Unit
