Registered Nurse - Full-time Nights 7p - 7a, ED, Morristown Medical Center

Location: Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ

Pay Range: $40.00/hr - $70.40/hr

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• 2 – 3 years of ED or other relevant acute care registered nurse experience.
• ACLS certification will be required prior to completing ED orientation.
• PALS certification to be obtained within one year of hire date.
