Job Description

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients’ injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with providers, educates patients, and more.

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master’s degree in nursing or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.
