Registered Nurse - Critical Care/Cardiac - PM Shift Location

Morristown, NJ

This is a 13-week contract position.

PM Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

The Registered Nurse (RN) in critical care/cardiac is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across the continuum, from assessment to education. This role includes performing thorough assessments, providing clinical care, and maintaining accurate documentation consistent with patient care standards.

• Conduct systematic and comprehensive patient assessments.
• Deliver competent nursing care and emergency response using appropriate clinical skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with nursing guidelines.
• Promote professionalism and identify areas for clinical growth.
• Ensure patient satisfaction through effective communication and care.
• Adhere to safety protocols and national patient safety goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge in handling surgical patient conditions and processes.
• Provide individualized pre-operative and post-operative patient education.

• 1 year of experience in Critical Care/Cardiac or Emergency Department.
• BLS certification - Required.
• RN License - Required.
• ACLS certification - Required.
• PALS certification - Required for pediatric ER only.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
  Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
