Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery travel position requiring previous high-risk pregnancy experience in a large hospital and a NJ or compact RN license.

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a large hospital setting
• Care for patients with high-risk pregnancies
• Night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Use EPIC charting system
• Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Provide assessment, direct patient care, and documentation for labor & delivery patients
• Deliver education to patients and families pre- and post-procedure
• Maintain professional conduct and adhere to patient confidentiality guidelines
• Comply with National Patient Safety Goals and use of safe transfer techniques
• Dress code and orientation details will be provided upon offer

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)
