Advanced Practice Professional; NP​/PA), Cardiothoracic Surgery Critical Care

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a great opportunity in Northern New Jersey. The role joins the Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute, Cardiothoracic Surgery Program at Morristown Medical Center. This position is ideal for self-starters and offers the opportunity to be part of a growing and well-established group with a robust staff.

• Work in the 24-bed Critical Care unit and be integral in the pre/post operative care of cardiac surgery patients in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes surgeons, intensivists, NPs and PAs.
• Demonstrate procedural experience including central line placements and arterial line (A-line) insertions, and initiate appropriate interventions and orders and diagnostic tests.

• Graduated from an accredited APN/PA program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Previous cardiovascular surgical patient management experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years Critical Care experience is preferred
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
