The AI Program Lead will drive enterprise‑wide AI initiatives, ensuring responsible adoption, robust governance, and continuous education. This role combines strategic leadership with operational execution to embed AI into business processes while maintaining compliance, ethical standards, and organizational readiness.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain governance frameworks aligned with regulations and internal policies; oversee full AI lifecycle; implement risk controls such as model risk management, bias audits, and human‑in‑the‑loop safeguards; lead governance councils and working groups.
- Drive AI strategy and integration across workflows to deliver measurable ROI; identify and implement high‑value use cases through cross‑functional PODs; promote AI democratization via self‑service tools and catalogs.
- Develop and deliver structured AI training programs, certifications, and awareness campaigns; foster responsible innovation through workshops and literacy initiatives; ensure compliance training for AI tools.
- Define KPIs and dashboards to track AI impact, adoption, and model health; provide regular reporting to leadership and governance committees on program status and risk posture.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, ethical AI principles, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to respond well to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative effort.
- Bachelor’s degree in either computer science, engineering, data science, mathematics and 5 years of relevant experience in AI or data science.
- Advanced degree in AI, data science, or related field. Proven experience in AI program management, governance, and enterprise adoption.
