Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a great opportunity in Northern New Jersey. The Practice-Based Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) will join the Cardiovascular Rescue and Recovery team at 100 Madison Avenue, Gagnon C, Morristown NJ (AMG). This is an excellent opportunity for an NP or PA interested in joining a supportive and growing practice with a robust staff.

The NP/PA will cover PTO/vacation, maternity leave, and weekends as needed by the department.

• Examine patients, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Manage patients who require conventional and complex interventional cardiology procedures.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide coverage for both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with an understanding of office practice and interventional cardiology operations.
• Gain experience and knowledge in Cardiogenic Shock.

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of interventional or general cardiology experience.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.
