Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist with 1-3 years of experience and NJ RT licensure for a Monday to Friday evening shift assignment.

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• Handles a variety of imaging equipment for diagnostic radiographic procedures
• Uses Epic charting system
• Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm shifts with every other weekend call
• Potential to float to a nearby sister hospital
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Coordinate daily imaging workflows and assess need for procedure adjustments
• Excellent communication and analytical skills required
• No local candidates; must live at least 50 miles away from the facility
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one year before a mandatory break period

• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license required if applicable
• ARRT and BLS certifications required
• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Proficiency with multiple types of imaging equipment
