Overview

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) for a Cardiovascular Rescue and Recovery opportunity in Morristown, NJ. This Practice-Based Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) will join the Cardiovascular Rescue and Recovery team at 100 Madison Avenue, Gagnon C, Morristown, NJ (AMG). The NP/PA will cover PTO/vacation, maternity leave, and weekends as needed by the department.

The APP will examine patients, formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and manage patients who require conventional and complex interventional cardiology procedures. The role includes documenting patient progress and providing coverage in both outpatient and inpatient settings, with opportunities to gain experience in Cardiogenic Shock. The position requires comfort working in a fast-paced environment and an understanding of office practice and interventional cardiology operations.

• Examine patients and formulate diagnoses
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Manage patients requiring conventional and complex interventional cardiology procedures
• Document patient progress
• Provide coverage for outpatient and inpatient settings
• Gain experience in Cardiogenic Shock
• Cover PTO/vacation, maternity leave, and weekends as needed by the department

• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of interventional or general cardiology experience
• Excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
