OverviewThe Onboarding Specialist is responsible for guiding clients through the onboarding process with professionalism and efficiency. Coordinating with internal teams to set clear expectations and ensure timely account set up and customization.
Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and accounts, from WMA generation to account setup and funding.
- Prepare and process new account paperwork including custodial forms, wealth management agreements, transfer forms, and required disclosures with a high level of accuracy.
- Coordinate directly with clients to obtain signatures via Docu Sign or mail
- Manage asset transfers including ACATs, rollovers, and wires
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client questions and needs during the onboarding process.
- Collaborate closely with client service specialists and internal teams to gather information and ensure the completion of timely onboarding.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 2-3 years of operations or client service experience at an RIA or similar financial services company
- Experience with Charles Schwab, Fidelity, Salesforce, Addepar, Docu Sign, (competency or ability to learn quickly)
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requests
- Able to work independently with minimal to no supervision but enjoy being part of a team
- Must be confidential with all client and firm matters
- This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

Pay InformationThis position is non-exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of New Jersey. The pay range for this position is $30-$37 per hour. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.
- This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.
